Reid Engineering is an established and trusted designer, fabricator and erector to the local agricultural ,commercial and industrial sector. The business continues to grow and has developed an excellent reputation for safety, efficiency, reliability, and cost-effectiveness. It has expanded beyond the local area, and now serves a wide range of customers throughout the UK and Ireland having expanded into larger commercial and industrial projects. Our core capabilities now include groundworks, concreting and crane hire meaning we can look after every stage of a build project.
We have continued to build on our agricultural heritage and in recent years we have become recognised as a leading supplier of specialist pig housing, using innovative design to provide a high-quality building . We construct and install turnkey intensive pig breeding units for farrowing, nursery, finisher, and sow housing, utilising various building methods including steel frame, kit form timber frame and modular /portable formats.
As well as pig housing we are well known for designing and erecting cubicle housing, milking parlours and general farm buildings.
In July 2020 Reid Engineering added to its agricultural portfolio when it bought over Turkington Livestock Systems, one of its long-standing customers and a company well known and respected for innovative high-quality modern poultry house design. The synergy created by this move, has positioned us as a leader in the Irish agricultural and construction industry.
