We provide houses for all sectors of the market – intensive, high welfare, free range and organic. We have been at the forefront of developing many of the design features incorporated into modern day housing, particularly with regard to improving bird welfare standards.
As internal layouts are designed to suit each other customer’s requirements, we can incorporate stores and link-ups as requested. In addition, our houses can be designed to incorporate any variation on ventailation systems – controlled environmental or naturally ventilated. Our high welfare houses come with gas filled double glazed window units, with shutters operated by automatic or manually operated rack and pinion systems.

Hypertherm, our latest innovation has been designed with energy efficiency, speed of erection and cost in mind. The innovative approach using pre cast concrete panels internally and extending the external insulated panel to the ground externally has been well received and is percieived as another first for Reid Engineering.

I appointed RE to design and construct a 2000 place pig fattening unit. As an experienced pig producer, I was impressed with their extensive knowledge of all areas regarding pig housing and welfare.
