We utilise our wealth of experience in the agricultural industry to offer detailed advice and a comprehensive service. We will work with you to understand your specific requirements, and provide you with a bespoke design and installation service. Our teams can take care of the entire build from ground clearance, shuttering work, slats, through to the steelwork erection and cladding. As we manufacture and fabricate the steel in-house, we have complete control over the project. We design, fabricate, deliver and erect onsite, ensuring minimal disruption to the working farm. Reid Engineering use the highest quality materials to withstand the rigorous day to day use which is required in modern farms.

CE Marking

Since 1st July 2014, it is a legal requirement for all fabricated structural steelwork to be CE marked. In order to comply with the regulations, steelwork contractors must have an Execution Class equal to or greater than that required for a project. By achieving accreditation in these standards, Reid Engineering have the ability to fabricate all types of structural steel in a manner which is to the highest standard and full traceability of the product is available. Reid Engineering has achieved compliance with the requirements of I.S. EN1090-1:2009+A1:2011 for CE marking of Structural Steel up to Execution Class 2 (EXC 2).

Fabrication

In our fabrication workshop we can cater to any of your bespoke fabrication needs including guillotine & press folding, plasma cutting, saw cutting, punching/ drilling, welding etc. With our four metre CNC Break Press and our three metre CNC Plasma Cutter, we can offer an efficient cost effective service. We work with mild steel, stainless steel and aluminium.

Agricultural Sheeting

Agricultural roofing comes in many forms and Reid Engineering can supply anything from box profile steel sheeting to fibre cement roof sheets.

Fibre Cement

Fibre cement profiled sheeting is an environmentally friendly, maintenance free reinforced fibre cement sheet available in a range of colours. 

Ventilated Sheeting

For really effective ventilation, airflow needs to be maximized throughout the unit. Ventilated sheeting is an ideal solution to allow movement of fresh air throughout the building.
